Last Friday we celebrated our topic learning. The students had decided to use their kitchen science to help the people of Nepal. Pohutukawa and Kowhai had lots of ideas and settled on a whole school mufti day and a junior school market day! Kowhai decided to make fruit kebabs for the market day. Then it was Kebab time - lots to make! Great team work Kowhai!
And there was chocolate bread... Interesting science experiment! But was it popular?

In the afternoon the whole school put out their coins on the Nepalese flag AND guess how much we raised?
It was $255... We were very pleased!
